WEDDING COLLATERAL

Production: Faulkenberg Printing Company

In September 2012, I got married and for five months prior, I planned and stressed and planned some more. Of course, being a designer (and one particularly obsessed with paper goods), I created all the printed artifacts. The look and feel of the wedding was "sitting outside by a bonfire in the fall, knitting and also wearing heels" or something like that. The handmade element was strongly represented in the paper goods, which were designed on the computer, printed out, then traced by hand onto clean paper, then these handmade tracings were scanned back into the computer, then printed on the final paper. The end result is that each element on the page, including all of the typography, was rendered by hand.
